O.B. Pro Comfort Review

I received these O.B Pro Comfort Regular Tampons for free courtesy from Crowdtap. In the box I found:
  • 3 samples of packs of o.b.® PRO COMFORT® Regular tampons
  • 3 samples of o.b.® carrying cases
These tampons do NOT have an applicator so you have to use your finger to insert.  This might be an issue for girls/women who have an issue with putting their fingers down there. If you are OK with it then you'll have no major issues with these. I like the standard Regular o.b. tampons, but not so much the "Pro Comfort," maybe because I'm used to an applicator. They didn't seem to absorb as well as other tampons I've used before and I personally feel that it's uncomfortable to do self-insertion. I was disappointed with the protection. Normally, in addition to tampons, I use panty liners just in case of leaks. The cases were cute and convenient because they can easily fit in your pocket or purse. I shared the other 2 cases with some tampons inside with some friends. Overall, these are the benefits and disadvantages in my opinion of O.B Pro Comfort Regular Tampons:

Pros
  • They are compact so they are convenient to carry.
  • Discreet
  • Earth-friendly
  • Using your fingers so you can determine the best position than using an applicator.

Cons
  • Lacks absorbency
  • Come out
  • More expensive
  • Uncomfortable

I received these as a free sample in exchange for my opinion. I'm not a fan of tampons without an applicator. The only advantage I see is that they are smaller and more discrete. I don't see myself using them really. These will be my emergency back ups.
