Review for Valentia Ultimate Skin Repair & Hydration Combo: True Glow Eye Cream & Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask

Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask  

I was skeptical about using this mask but I was pleasantly surprised. This mask is golden yellow in color and is lightly scented. The consistency reminds me like the one of a (banana) pudding which was not very appealing to me, but I was willing to give it a try because of the of the scent and the natural ingredients it has. This mask contains a mix of natural ingredients like the Silk Protein Amino Acid Blend: Botanical Hyaluronic Acid, Organic Sea Buckthorn Oil, Japanese Green Tea and Aloe Vera. My face felt tingly and had a cooling sensation while having it on my face which was kind of soothing. However, the mask felt somewhat sticky by the end. 

Cleanup was simple and required only a damp cloth and warm water to remove it after 15-30 minutes of application. The first night I used it, I didn't notice much or maybe didn't pay attention to how my face felt but the next morning I definitely noticed that my face was smoother, softer and moisturized. I am using it twice a week at night time after washing my face and I can see a noticeable difference. I have oily skin and I am also glad that it has caused any breakouts which is a major concern for me. I also love that it helps boost your collagen production and decrease signs of aging. The packaging needs improvement though (not the box but the container) as it does not look like a quality product, it is very simple.

The eye cream doesn't feel greasy or sticky which is a big plus. It does have a slight citrus scent, but it's not overpowering.  It absorbs quickly in my skin and with no residue. The texture is not thick and it has like a peachy/light orange color.  I like that the bottle had a pump and it gave me a perfect amount of cream to apply. 

I use this cream both in the morning before applying my make-up and in the evening after cleansing my skin right before going to bed. Unfortunately, this eye cream did not lighten/reduce my dark circles at this time but it makes my eye area look refreshed. I will going to continue use for a while and try to see if there is any difference in a few weeks. I am in my late 30s and I do not have any wrinkles so I would not be able to say much about this, however it is always nice to prevent wrinkles. I like that the cream helps my eyes look fresh when I get up in the morning. While I haven't noticed any huge improvement with the dark circles, I have noticed that the skin around my eyes feels smoother and I can apply my makeup without any issues. Also, it doesn't make me break out or give me an allergic reaction.

For those of you who aren’t familiar with Influenster, Influenster is an online community for social media bloggers and social media-savvy individuals who can share reviews and occasionally get free box (VoxBox) of products/samples to try and share news, products, and reviews. 1. Slim Fast Ready to Drink High Protein Meal Replacement Shake, Creamy Milk Chocolate

I was skeptical in trying this shake. Most shakes to suppress appetite usually do not taste great or leave you a weird after taste. I usually don't drink chocolate flavor products but I was willing to give it a try. I'm glad I did because I actually it was not what I expected. Something that I liked about it is the high protein and low sugar. It's very smooth and flavorful. I did feel full for a good few hours or so with just this shake so it did satisfy my cravings. I would highly recommend for anyone in search of a good tasting, high protein shake that you can grab with you out the door. I think it would be great for before you work out.

2. Slimfast Meal Replacement Bar, Dark Chocolate Sea Salt

This bar contains protein (10 grams) and fiber (5 grams) plus 18 vitamins and minerals to be sufficient meal replacement. Like I said before, I am not a chocolate lover and I would not be able to fully be fair about the taste.  I gave it a try, I don't know if it would keep me full for lunch or dinner. I also didn't find it as filling as it should be to replacement a meal. The dark chocolate was rich, the bar texture was chewy and did not taste artificial. I was not a fan of the nuts in the bar, but that is more of a personal preference. People who like chocolate would find this delicious. 

3. 2 Slimfast 100-Calorie snacks in 2 flavors

Baked Crisps Sour Cream & Onion 

These were much better than I expected! The crisps were tasty and filling. It had great flavor and a great crunch which is important. They are crispy so it gives you the feel of eating potato chips.  I Definitely recommend trying them can't beat a good filling snack for 100 calories.

 Drizzed Crisps Cinnamon Bun Swirl

I was skeptic with this snack as well at the beginning, I have a sweet tooth, the Slim Fast Cinnamon Bun Drizzled Crisps taste just like Cinnamon Toast Crunch, but with real icing on each crisp. I was surprised at how yummy they were. I expected them to taste like cardboard. They are crunchy and a little sweet. The taste was not compromised for the increased nutritional value at all. Definitely worth buying if you are counting your calorie intake.
